Luxury Hotels

If you want the most comfortable stay possible and the most memorable holiday experience (for the right reasons), staying in luxury hotels is probably the best option. Luxury hotels are the highest class of hotels - usually 5 star but sometimes 4 star in terms of national rating, they offer truly exceptional facilities, services and unrivalled luxury. The hotel room itself in a luxury hotel is usually a lot larger than you'd expect from a normal room and has a lovely view. There will be a lovely thick matress and duvet on the bed, a large flatscreen TV and perhaps some other comforts like complimentary drinks and snacks, a whirlpool spa bath and some comfortable chairs and sofas to sit on. In some luxury hotels, you may even find a dining table with chairs, so you can sit and have a meal in the peace and comfort of your own hotel room. But if this isn't your thing, you're bound to find a world-class restaurant in the hotel itself, where you can enjoy a delicious gormet meal without having to tidy away!

Aside from a restauraunt, other useful facilities common in luxury hotels include some form of shop. This usually sells 'essentials' such as medicine, simple foods, drinks and snack items as well as souvenirs. Quite often luxury hotels will also have a large swimming pool and other facilities such as spa baths, steam rooms and saunas. These are most often free to paying hotel guests, but additional services such as massages may cost. Depending on the location, you may find an outside swimming pool and even tennis courts and a golf course - if it's more of a luxury resort than just a luxury hotel. Free parking is also quite often provided, but the location of luxury hotels is often prime and therefore the main attractions of the town/city/area are often within walking distance.

When you have finished exploring the city, you will surely feel pampered and relaxed back at the hotel. Luxury hotels take the needs of their guests very seriously, and it is not uncommon to have as many staff as there are rooms in large luxury hotels. The place will be spotless and room service will run throghout the night. For business guests, luxury hotels may also provide conference facilities with complimentary high-speed wireless internet access, fax machines and telephones for free local phone calls. The general atmosphere is good for the morale and productivity of the workers, as well, and therefore booking employees into luxury hotels makes sense to businesses.
